Blount Island

This JAXPORT terminal is only 9 nautical miles from the Atlantic Ocean, making it the shortest route for ships sailing from the Atlantic. It is one of the largest vehicle shipping centers in the US and the major cargo facility of the Port of Jacksonville. It is the largest container facility occupying an impressive area of 754 acres.
