This does not always mean it will be an extremely low price and while we understand that many brokers will offer lower rates when they give an initial quote, we also understand that those who try to pull customers in with an unrealistically low price will need to add more to the price later.

This is often due to brokers quoting very low rates, so they can pull in a customer, but then they fail to find a driver who will work for the lower rate and they will need to have the customer pay more. This is not an honest practice and it is not one that we will participate in.

When we quote rates, we have already taken the time to know what the rates truly are, and we quote accordingly so our customers know what they will pay. We don’t like surprises and we never want to surprise our customers with an extra cost once their transport is booked.

The price we quote for car shipping will be based on the type of vehicle you have, the height and weight of the vehicle, the distance and the route that will be taken, and the season. During the winter you might find that some routes, such as Minneapolis to Miami, will cost more than they would cost during the summer. This is because during the winter seasonal travelers called snowbirds tend to head to warmer climates and it means that carriers are busy with snowbird transport. When winter is ending and there are fewer moves to the south, auto transport rates will often decrease.

Broker or Carrier?

It is not always easy to tell if a company is a broker or a carrier as some are just not upfront about the services they provide, and they won’t tell you that they are brokering the transport for others.
