Being a doubly landlocked country located in Central Asia, Uzbekistan has no ports of its own. Therefore, vehicles will be imported to nearby ports. A vehicle owner must be present on the day of the automobile's arrival. It is necessary to know which port the vehicle will be arriving at and to have transportation arranged to the port on the vehicle's day of arrival.

With a long stretch of highways and roads, Uzbekistan is easy to travel even with its deteriorating road construction. Many of the roads are paved and travel to all of the country's regions is possible. One can travel freely and explore all that Uzbekistan has to offer, including its beautiful culture and architecture.

How to Ship a Vehicle to Uzbekistan

To export a vehicle to the landlocked country, one will need to be knowledgeable of all nearby ports. An agent might be able to pick the vehicle up on its day of arrival if the owner cannot be present. Contacting the Embassy of Uzbekistan is always wise prior to vehicle shipment. They will tell of all the requirements and documentation needed.

Shipping Methods for Vehicles of Any Kind

When exporting a vehicle, there are ultimately three different ways to go about it. Two are much more practical than the others.

  • Air shipping is the most expensive way to ship a vehicle or any property for that matter. Many cannot afford this method of shipment.
  • RO/RO shipping is the cheapest and it requires that the empty vehicle is rolled onto and off of the ship. This method is not accepted by all ports. If it is a possibility, make sure that only floor mats, a car jack and a spare tire are in the vehicle.
  • Container shipping allows for other belongings to be shipped too. The vehicle can be filled as well as the remaining space in the large container. Splitting a container with another person will help ease the cost of shipment.

Shipping Of Heavy Equipment & Oversized Cargo To Uzbekistan

Transporting heavy equipment and oversized cargo to Uzbekistan or any other country around the globe, is a job for professional international shipping companies. Following the requirements stipulated by foreign import laws is difficult enough but without the right transport equipment, you are certainly going to find that you are in over your head. Luckily, there aren’t many types of heavy equipment or oversized cargo that A1 Auto Transport can’t ship at an affordable price.

Types of Heavy Equipment and Oversized Cargo We Can Transport to Uzbekistan

We have transported everything from industrial, farming, mining, paving, hydraulic, construction, and engineering equipment to places inside and outside of the U.S. Some of the types of equipment we’ve shipped for these industries include…

  • Tractors
  • Backhoes
  • Forklifts
  • Skidders
  • Excavators
  • Asphalt Pavers
  • Skidders
  • Loaders
  • Cranes
  • Pile Drivers
  • RVs
  • Large Vehicles (EX: Dump Trucks)
  • Haulers and More…

A1’s International Transport Methods

It takes careful preparation, meticulousness attention to detail, and training to carry out a transport for heavy equipment. It also takes the use of durable haulers and shipping equipment. Because of our resources, we are able to offer four different international shipping methods.

  1. Flat Rack- your cargo is secured to a metal frame that is placed atop the ship for its expedition to Uzbekistan.
  2. Container Shipping- your cargo is protected within a 40ft shipping container as long it can fit in even with some disassembly.
  3. Roll On/Roll Off- your cargo must be operable so that it can be driven onto and off of the ship using a ramp.
  4. Lift On/Lift Off- your inoperable vehicle or crated cargo is lifted onto the ship and off of the ship using a crane.

All of our shipping services are guaranteed to be safe but depending on the type of heavy equipment or oversized cargo you intend to transport overseas, not all of these methods may be available to you. A1’s representatives will inform you of your options when you call in. Nevertheless, all of these shipping options are paired with free insurance coverage.
