Both routes will require a little research, proper documentation, and a reputable auto transport company such as A-1 Auto Transport. The first option is to import the vehicle under temporary status which is only good for a period of 180 days or less. The second option is permanent status, but this route is only available for people that fall into very few select demographics.

LoLo, RoRo and flat rack shipping are all open air services. Flat rack shipping is the most secure of the three open air methods since your equipment is strapped to a metal frame.
If you wish for maximum security, you may be able to take advantage of container shipping services. Nevertheless, your cargo will need to fit into a 40ft shipping container. If it is at all possible, we will have our professionals disassemble the equipment or vehicle so that it fits nicely in the container for its transport.
