As per the rules and regulations, before you send out the vehicle from USA, you need to notify the U.S Customs at least 72 hours before the vehicle is shipped. This is important to get the clearances in advance so that there is no delay in shipping the vehicle. Additionally, the Georgia Revenue Service requires validating the documents before the import is considered legal. Some of these important documents include:
- Title deed.

As per the tax regulations, all imported vehicles have to pay 18% VAT and 12% custom duty, based on the cost, insurance and freight charges.
