Transporting Lamborghinis For A Dealership
One of our favorite luxury shipments was for a Lamborghini dealership in Texas. These beauties have notoriously low clearance, which meant that extra care was taken during the loading and unloading process to avoid any damage. Since luxury cars like Lamborghini have a high value, any small dent or ding can be quite costly, making it all the more important to ensure their safe delivery throughout the process. We delivered these successfully from New York to the Texas dealership without any problems or damages, just as promised.
Transporting A Load Of Harley
Shipping luxury brand motorcycles is another one of the many services we provide for our customers. Since motorcycles have many small, delicate parts, it’s even more essential that they be stowed securely and handled with the utmost care. The shipment pictured here was delivered from Florida to California during the summer, which can be a tricky time to ship due to the heat. As with many of our other luxury shipments, we used one of our climate-controlled carriers to make sure that temperature levels did not creep into dangerously high levels; something that we view as essential when hauling any high-end vehicles. Yacht & Watercraft Shipping
As any yacht owner will tell you, luxury vehicles aren’t just found on the road. We recently had a client that asked if we were able to ship a yacht from Los Angeles to Martha’s Vineyard—something many other transport companies had been unable to facilitate. We happily explained that boat and yacht transport was well within the realm of services we provided regularly and laid out a plan to deliver the yacht in a timeline that fits with the client’s desired timeframe. Frequently Asked Questions
No. Our shipping service deals with both single vehicles as well as fleets. We can also ship within the continental US as well as internationally. However, if taking vehicles overseas, documentation is necessary, and you may be required to cover customs costs and licensing and registration fees at your destination.
From Audis, to Lamborghinis, and even Ferraris. We don't discriminate based on our customers' tastes. A1 Auto Transport is glad to move any luxury car you may have from its source to its destination with a minimum of hassle.

While it's well within your rights to do so, you should be aware of how much more of an investment a luxury vehicle is. Many regular car shipment places wouldn't accept shipping luxury cars because their insurance simply won't cover it. A1 Auto Transport has a shipping service dedicated to these types of vehicles, ensuring your vehicle gets the safest and most comfortable trip.
Your vehicle can be shipped in either open or closed transport. Closed transport sees the vehicle enclosed within a container, keeping it safe from the environment as well as anything else around it. Open transport is the cheaper option but leaves the car out in the open. Both types of shipping are perfectly acceptable if they come with the reputation that A1 Transport upholds.
The Department of Transportation fully authorizes us to move vehicles across, into, and out of the country.
Each insurance company operates differently. Some insurance premiums cover damage during shipping, while others do not. If you're concerned about your insurance coverage, we also offer basic and advanced coverage for your vehicle while in transit. Give the office a call, and they'll walk you through the process of insuring your vehicle against damage while shipping.
The law requires us to verify the ownership of the car we're shipping as well as have copies to provide in case the transport is stopped for a routine check. You will need to show us your proof of ownership and valid insurance for the vehicle before accepting the shipping commitment.

Trailers, rail, or sea are the most common methods of shipping vehicles. Internally, trailers and rail dominate the market. Internationally, sea freight carries most vehicle shipments since it's easier to move heavy items by sea. Unfortunately, sea movement is slow, and air freight is another viable option for shipping a car to some locales. The drawback is that air freight tends to cost significantly more than other options. The benefit it offers is a shorter transit time.
No. We can also transport luxury watercraft such as yachts and speedboats from one location to another. The demands for shipping these vehicles are similar in terms of the documents required.
It's impossible to tell whether a vehicle will get damaged while in transit, but our safety measures make it very unlikely. If there is minor damage to a vehicle, the insurance coverage will protect and reimburse the owner for any issues.
While you can leave items in your car when it's being transported, we recommend that you don't. The articles within a vehicle are not covered by insurance, so you should ensure that your car is cleared of valuables before we ship it. Ideally, you should go through the car's interior and clear out anything that could be damaged or lost during transit.
In some cases, no. If you're using a container to ship the vehicle, then it doesn't need to be in working condition. However, if you're using an open shipping method that's roll-on-roll-off, you will need to have a working vehicle. If your vehicle is having issues getting started or running, shipping it in a container is probably your best option.

While you should cut a set of keys for the shipping company, A1 Luxury Auto Transport recommends that you have a set for yourself as well. The extra set of keys is a precaution, ensuring that you have access to your vehicle immediately.
We facilitate local and international vehicle movement, but additional costs might be associated with importing a vehicle across international borders. Some governments require that you present three notarized copies of the vehicle's title when it gets to the destination port.
It is recommended that you turn off any anti-theft system you may have on the vehicle. Some systems may trigger through vibration and might go off during transit with no way to stop it. By the time the vehicle gets to its destination, the battery may be dead, making the car immobile.

We have a door-to-door option, but it may not be ideal for some locales. Some driveways are simply too small for the trailer to get into, making it impossible to deliver the vehicle to its chosen destination. In these cases, the owner can pick up their auto from the nearest shipping terminal.
If you're not going to pick up the vehicle in person, you will need to send a bit more information to your chosen agent. A letter detailing your wishes, signed by you and dated, is a requirement. Additionally, copies of identification for both yourself and your agent may also be necessary for our records.
