Almost all auto transport companies in Waimalu offer motorcycle shipping services. Motorcycles are often transported, especially during the colder weather months. Shipping them through experienced professionals assures the safety of the bike, saving it from added mileage and possible harm.
It doesn’t matter how near or far you need the motorcycle shipped. You can easily find a transport company that offers local and long distance motorcycle shipping. They will get the job done quickly. Even cross nation transports take under two weeks to complete.
How the Shipping Process Works.
The process of shipping a motorcycle begins with the initial phone call. Get a quote and schedule a transport date for your motorcycle. You will also need to decide on shipping services at this time. Luckily, the customer service reps will have no problem assisting you with your selections.
When everything is booked and ready to go, start preparing the motorcycle as suggested by the transport company. Usually these are fairly simple tasks to carry out. You will be asked to leave the fuel tank less than ¼ full, to check the fluids and tire pressure, to wash the bike, and to remove any loose items such a saddle bag. Other requests may be made depending on the shipping services you chose.
If you chose door to door services as many others do, the transport company will send a driver to pick the motorcycle up on the date scheduled. When they arrive, the driver will take their time securing the bike to the hauler to assure its safety during their travels. As they make their way to the final location, the will be cautiously and frequently cared for. When the motorcycle finally arrives, make sure a responsible party is available to sign the delivery off. Then quickly inspect the bike for possible damage before the driver leaves.
