The State of Montana is known for its big skies and outdoor activity, including scenic routes for motorists. Motorcycle owners are scattered throughout the state, especially near the slightly more populated areas such as Glasgow.
If you are in need of having the bike shipped to another location, there are many transporters that can provide affordable shipping services.
You may take notice that most transport companies offer three shipping methods to motorcycle shippers. These include:
- Enclosed Transport.
- Crated Transport.
- Open Air Transport.
All three of these frequently purchased transport methods are designed to keep the bike safe. With that being said, some offer a little more protection than the others which will increase the rate quoted. Remember, no matter what shipping method you choose, insurance coverage provides additional protection.
How Long Does the Shipping Process Take?
The shipping process for motorcycle transports is usually very quick. For a trip across the nation, it might only take up to two weeks. Of course, this is adding in time for rest stops and other obstacles along the way, meaning that the motorcycle may make its way even sooner.
Transport drivers will pay close attention to weather and road conditions. They will try their best to avoid such situations which may make their length of travel slightly longer. Their main objective is to get the motorcycle safely to its new home. If you are in a hurry or wish to have the bike delivered as quickly as possible, ask the customer service reps if they offer expedited or guaranteed shipping services. These added services can help decrease the timeframe in which the bike is delivered or assure that it arrives on a certain date.
