Safe And Reliable Vilonia Car Shipping Services By A-1 Auto Transport
Fresh fruit markets, close-knit society, friendly neighbors, a serene environment and small-town atmosphere, are some of the things that characterize the city of Vilonia which is located in southeast Faulkner County, Arkansas. Originally known as Vilsonia which loosely translates to ‘the land of two valleys,’ it was misspelled during the application of a post office and the residents let the name stick. The area has no major industries and most of the residents go to the neighboring towns for work. This however, makes it a great place to live in with minimum air and noise pollution. If you are moving or shipping cars to or from Vilonia, partner with A-1 Auto Transport for the best possible outcome. Gearing up for the move
After scheduling a pick-up date, there are a few things that you need to do to ensure that your vehicle is ready for the shipping process. Some of them include:
- Documenting the state of your vehicle. Any scratches, dents, paint peels and other cosmetic damages should be noted down. Taking pictures offers clear evidence should a dispute arise.
- Clearing your vehicle of personal items. By law, auto shippers are prohibited from carrying any personal items in the vehicle to be shipped. This is done for security reasons. You should also remove any custom installations such as stereos, DVD systems, and GPS navigation systems. This is to prevent them from getting damaged or stolen.
- Make sure that your vehicle doesn't have a full tank of gas. A quarter tank of gas will suffice for the move. Your vehicle will only be driven during the loading and unloading thus there's no need for too much fuel. Some shipping companies charge a premium on anything above a quarter tank of gas.
- Remove all your parking passes and toll tags. Leaving them on will accumulate charges as the vehicle is shipped past any toll station.
- Make extra copies of your car keys.
- Deactivate your alarm system.
