SVP Auto Shipping Reviews

“Great services: As a car dealer, convenient pickup locations and timely deliveries are top priority. SVP Auto Shipping has terminals across various locations in Canada and this makes is easy for me to ship cars to clients who prefer to pick them up at the terminal. They offer timely, professional service. Karen - (Tampa, Florida)”
“review: SVP Auto Shipping is my trusted choice whenever I hire out my limousine to companies or individuals. They also accommodate last minute delivery requests with ease. With them, I can be sure the car will get to the customer in good time and then back to me in good condition. Allan - (Denver, Colorado)”
“When my car arrived in Van I got an email telling me to come & collect urgently (with no notice) as they would charge me daily to hold my car. I had spent around $2000 on the shipment already, I couldn't risk collecting more fees so I took the day off work. Upon arrival at the yard ($30 taxi, $60 ferry, $85 taxi), I was told they had no record of my car. I contacted Steve Burley & SVP & they ignored me. Yard staff said this is common for SVP. I requested that my car was delivered to the island or the ferry (a service they originally offered) & I could not get a response. When I received my car it was COVERED in dirt & mud, I had to remove the cover of both the seat & the steering wheel before getting in, the driving controls & the door-handle were disgusting, & the key was dirt caked in the crevices. Quote was $1598 + taxes, final cost was: $2835 (not including having my car cleaned). Pick a company that respects you, your time, & your hard earned money.”
“I reached out to the company first around early-mid November for a quote from Drummondville, to Winnipeg, kept him posted on when my car was going to be ready for pick up made the payment on November 25, 2020, it is week 5 he still hasn't provided me any details on what "time" it is getting picked up and what's the ETA. I was provided with a phone number of another trucking company, which meant he is a broker and doesnt have a company of his own. they in turn told me I have to wait till after new years now because they couldn't "fit" my truck onto trailer. I recommend everyone mistreated by this individual reach out to BBB Canada, Atlantic trucking association and other regulatory bodies. If people speak up then people like him can be shut down hopefully. Long story short, save yourself some time and hire someone else. P.s. don't fall for "a family company" like I did.”
“Don't ignore the bad reviews, they are bad for a reason. Today I had enough. After 4 weeks of dealing with these people, I decided to finally call them and ask for my money back. During these 4 weeks, Steve gave me EVERY possible excuse for not picking up my car: Snowstorm, Flooding, Mudslides, Cold weather, Road closures, Protests in Ottawa, Dispatch person was sick, Truck had issues and didn't leave the garage. I'm not kidding, these were all his excuses for not picking up my car. Since he is just giving excuses, I decided to cancel it and use a decent company. What he said was "if you cancel, we will charge you $300 for cancellation fee". And he hang up on me. So they didn't work, they didn't pick up my car, but they still kept my money. If you read this and still decide to hire this company, well, then you deserve it as much as I did for not taking the bad reviews seriously.”
