Vehicles we ship
We have shipped almost every type of vehicle there is since inception. Some of the most frequent ones we ship include:
- Non-operational vehicles. Shipping non-operational vehicles takes some skills and the right equipment. Since the vehicles can't be driven on and off carriers, equipment such as forklifts and cranes are needed to load and unload them. Ensure that the shipper you settle on has this equipment before hiring the service.
- Jet Ski shipping. Riding a rented Jet Ski pales in comparison to the thrill of riding your own. Renting one is expensive and the time limits are usually very short. We offer affordable Jet Ski transport to any location in the world. We use the right equipment to load and secure the Jet Ski on to our carriers in order not to damage them.
- RV and motorhomes transport. Going camping in a motorhome is the best way to have a relaxing night, safe from bugs and the other animals. They are, however, not cheap to run. It offers about 5 miles to a gallon of gas making it very expensive to run over long distances. We are capable of shipping any RV or motorhome across the United States and even abroad.
- Truck shipping. A-1 Auto Transport is a top rated and certified truck shipper. We offer the most cost effective truck shipping service on this side of the hemisphere. Some of the trucks that we have shipped include firefighting trucks, tow trucks, classic and vintage trucks, semi and commercial trucks, hauling trucks and many more.
How to prepare your vehicle for shipping
- Ensure that your vehicle is properly serviced. Top up all fluids and make sure that all leaks are plugged.
- Remove all your personal belongings. This is advisable since they are not covered by the insurance and for safety purposes.
- Make sure that the battery is fully charged.
- Deactivate or remove all toll tags and parking passes.
- Remove any non-built-in or custom products such as stereo systems, bike racks, external car covers, fog lights etc.
- Deactivate the alarm system.
- Run down your gas tank to about the quarter level.
