Although it is hard to put an exact price to the shipping process without the right information being given, it is safe to assume that with import taxes included, you will pay at least a couple thousand dollars. If you’re approved by the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), you may be able to ship your car into Mexico duty-free. Otherwise, be ready to pay a 25% regular duty, a 16% VAT, and a general import tax. All tariffs and duties must be paid before the transport. Proof of paid taxes will need to be provided to the Customs office. Along with the other documentation requested, your vehicle will gain approval into the country.
