An All-New Frame

In addition to featuring a fully-boxed ladder frame that includes six crossmembers, the 2019 Ford Ranger will also have a robust and solid mounting location for both the front steel bumper and for the rear steel bumper.

Furthermore, Ford is also including the option for an integrated trailer-hitch receiver as an add-on.

An Emphasis on Steel

The 2019 Ford Ranger includes a predominately steel body that rests on its frame, along with an aluminum hood and tailgate. In comparison to the international version, the 2019 Ford Ranger will have panel gaps that are much tighter and uniform, as well as updated fascia and lighting components.
