Methods of Motorcycle Transport that are Popular among Shipping Clients.
There are a variety of shipping methods to think about. Depending on the company you decide to ship through, these methods may vary. Some of the methods are deemed safer than others, but they might cost a bit more. It is up to you to decide what is best.
- Enclosed shipping is known to be a safer method of transport for motorcycles. The bike is placed within a container during shipment.
- Crated shipping is the safest method. Although the preparation for this method is a little bit more demanding, the bike is strapped to a wooden pallet and placed within a tight container for shipment.
- Open air shipping is cheap. However, the bike is placed on an open trailer where it is susceptible to poor weather and road conditions.
- Terminal to terminal transport will require that the motorcycle is dropped off at a nearby shipping terminal and then retrieved from a terminal in or near Nampa. This isn't always convenient, but it is cheaper.
- Door to door transport is when the company comes to get the bike from you and then takes it to wherever you need it shipped.
