Known as New Orleans’ “Most Historic Neighbor,” the City of St. Bernard Parish presents many convenient services and facilities to its residents. This includes professional transport for all of those busy motorcycle owners and enthusiasts often in need of shipping services. These shipping services can greatly lessen the cost of motorcycle relocation in any other form, as well as the stress often caused with such responsibility.
The act of shipping a motorcycle through professionals means that it will arrive on schedule and as described. If the bike was said to have 19,333 miles on it, it will arrive at the next location with the exact or nearest mileage. If the bike contained absolutely no damage prior to its shipping process, it will arrive at the next door in the same manner.
Shipping Methods Described.
While all transport companies will have a variety of their own services and features to present to their customers, many of them will offer similar things. There are only so many ways to safely transport a motorcycle and that’s why you may notice that there are three main shipping methods to choose from.
- The enclosed shipping method is pretty much the median between the other two methods. This method of shipping allows the motorcycle extra protection between the four walls of a large shipping container. The motorcycle is secured to a pallet then placed in the container with other vehicles.
- The crated shipping method offers a little more security. The bike is strapped inside of a tight container, leaving it very little room for shifting. This method may demand more preparation before the transport can be made successfully.
- Open air shipping offers less protection but it is very cost effective and damages to the motorcycle rarely ever occur. The bike is strapped to the flatbed of a hauler for its shipping process through this method.
