People can have their vehicles shipped to El-Mahalla El-Kubra by plane or ship. Typically, people tend to have their vehicles transported by ship because it is more cost effective. Customs regulations will not allow any automobile three years or older to be imported into El-Mahalla El-Kubra.
Transporting other belongings inside of the vehicle should be avoided if you plan to transport the car without a container. The roll on, roll off method, is a shipping option where the vehicle is loaded onto the deck of the vessel and secured. Cars cannot be imported to El-Mahalla El-Kubra using the RO/RO method unless the vehicle is drivable.
On the other hand, cars being imported inside of a container do not have to follow the same regulations. Customs permits customers to load household items inside of their car inside of a container, but they should be boxed and labeled. A container also provides the vehicle with protection against the elements but it is more costly. Make sure to get the exact dimensions of your vehicle then report them to the shipping company to ensure that you get the appropriate sized container.
