Our transport services
When you have a car that you use on your daily errands, the best option to move it from one end to the other should not come at a high cost. Open-air shipping offers the best solution. Our trucks make it more affordable by creating enough room for you to share transportation with 8-10 car owners. Enclosed or covered transport is the right solution when you need to move an original classic, luxury car or a high-performance sports drag. The vehicles will get protection from dirt, dust, inclement weather, and road debris. It will cost you more money compared to open transport. The main benefits include not getting worry about cosmetic damage and lowered insurance costs. Container transport follows the enclosed model, where it offers waterproof and weatherproof advantages. We have two containerized transport options.
- Shared containers help to bring down the cost to ship by allowing 2-4 car owners use a 40-foot shipping container.
- Exclusive containers create room for extra car parts and other personal effects that you may want to send along with the vehicle.
- Roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) transport is the cheapest international option for shipping cars to or from Morris. RoRo vessels have multiple decks that can carry 1000-6000 vehicles across the sea. Special ramps help in driving the automobiles into the ship or off it when loading and unloading.
- Door-to-door shipping is a service that lets the transporter run all the errands while you sit back and wait to receive the car at your residence. You may pick any other convenient spot in cases where the delivery truck might have a hard time reaching your home.
- Terminal shipping will help you cut back on some of the expenses. We have a broad network of A-1 Auto Transport terminals across the state and other parts of the country. You will drop-off or pick-up the vehicle at an appointed A-1 Auto Transport depot.
- We have a professional moving service for households and private corporations. We can help you to make a smooth start to life in a new town, city, state, or even country.

How to prepare your vehicle for shipping
- Clean the car so that it becomes easy to spot cosmetic damage during inspection. The vehicle will go through this process on the collection day and at the delivery point. When you receive the car, you can go back to the inspection report and check for any new damage.
- Clear out the trunk and other compartments. Do not keep any of your personal belongings inside the car. Transport companies do not take responsibility for these items. Doing that would be going against the safety regulations. Most transporters keep a personal items policy, which can help you understand the regulations.
- Check the tire pressure and top-off all the fluids. Make sure there are no leaks and keep the battery fully charged. Let the transporter know if your car leaks of fluid or if it has mechanical issues. Leaking vehicles cannot go on the top deck of an open trailer since they might cause cosmetic damage to other cars.
- Run down the gas to about 1/8 or 1/4 before handing over the vehicle. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) recommends this level. The only time that the truck driver will drive the car is when loading or unloading it on the trailer.
- Get a spare key for the ignition and a set for all the compartments. The truck driver will need the keys but do not give out your only set because losing them during the process might leave you frustrated.
