We can fetch and deliver to anywhere around the town. Our extensive transport networks include all the 50 states in the country and major global destinations.
Transport services offered in Kersey
Open-air transport offers affordable removals from any part of the country within the shortest timelines. We have a large fleet of multi-car trailers that can transport 8-10 cars at once, leading to cost-savings for customers who opt for the service when moving one vehicle or many of them at once.
Enclosed shipping keep you from worrying about your vehicle while in transit during the days that the weather decides to act rough. The cars also get extra shielding from dirt, debris and other external risks that may come up along the road. We have a fleet of trucks that include other safety features such as hydraulic lift gates and an air-compressed suspension system.
Door-to-door shipping is one of the most reliable delivery options if you happen to be a long distance away from a major city or urban center. We can collect or deliver the vehicle in any of the hard to reach areas.
Terminal-to-terminal shipping is a lot simpler and can save you money when shipping cars to or from Kersey. We will appoint a nearby transportation depot in Colorado where you will drop off or deliver the vehicle.
When sending vehicles overseas, there are two frequent options that most shippers prefer: roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) and containerized transport.
- To ship a vehicle using the RoRo standard, we will ask you to keep it in running shape as well will drive it on the ship and off it.
- With containerized transport, we will place the vehicle inside a 20ft or 40ft container for added safety as it travels on the ocean. This option allows you to place personal effects in the cargo depending on the available room.
Types of cars that we ship
A-1 Auto Transport offers a variety of solutions catering to all types of vehicles. Among the automobiles that we ship include ATVs, boats, motorcycles, SUVs, classics, farm machinery, project equipment, trucks, RVs, and many more.
How to prepare a car for shipping
Wash the vehicle and inspect it for cosmetic imperfections. You can use a camera to take dated photographs as part of the records. The transporter should include everything on the vehicle condition report.
Remove your valuables, household goods, and personal effects from the vehicle. The insurance policy will not pay for any damage resulting from the items.
Consider taking out all the custom accessories fitted inside and outside the vehicle. Remove the CD and DVD players, GPS, speakers, radio detectors, spoilers, roof racks, grills, and ground effects. Make separate transport arrangements for these items.
Cover the delicate parts on the exterior to protect them from possible damage during the handling process. Retract/remove the antenna and fold in the side view mirrors. If you have a convertible, make sure that you secure the top to weatherproof the interior.
Run some maintenance checks on the vehicle so that you can have a smooth experience and avoid extra charges. The following steps will help you to keep it in proper running shape:
- Leave about 1/4 of gas in the tank.
- Top off the fluid levels.
- Keep the battery on a full charge and check the tire pressure.
- Fix any outstanding mechanical issues and aggressive fluid leaks.
- Note down the odometer reading.
- Disable the alarm system and prepare a spare set of cars keys for the truck driver.
