- Leave ¼ of a tank of fuel in the motorcycle or less.
- Clean the motorcycle, assuring all dirt is completely removed.
- Create a list of all damage already done to the vehicle. This will make inspection easier when the bike is finally released back to you after its transport.
- Give the key to the driver whenever you drop it off for transport or whenever it is picked up.
- Remove the handlebars, saddlebags and other unnecessary items if requested.
- If the bike has an alarm, disengage it. The transport company may also ask for the battery to be removed depending on the method of transport.
