Evening Shade, Arkansas Professional Auto Shipping
Evening Shade is a very small city in northern Arkansas. Many people recognize the name due to it being used for a fictional television in the early 1990’s that starred popular actor Burt Reynolds as he played a former football star that retired to the city. The show also stared Hal Holbrook, Marilu Henner and Ossie Davis as well as many other well-known celebrities.
The city, unlike the television show, got its name due to the shade that was formed by the tall pine timber trees that are indigenous to the area. The climate is usually very hot and humid in the summer and mild to cool in the winters which allow for plenty of warmer weather, even in the fall and winter, for hunters to spend time in the woods on deer hunts and hunting for other seasonal game. Residents often work in industries such as manufacturing and assembly, forestry, hunting and fishing and healthcare, education and even retail and food and beverage. The city is very family oriented and hosts events on annual holidays that include fun for all ages.

- Are vehicles insured during auto transport? - Yes, all vehicles are insured by carrier insurance during transport. The coverage will normally cover accidental damage but will not cover damage caused by hail or other natural incidents. You need to ask to see the insurance coverage paperwork in person to verify that it is active and sufficient for the value of your car.
- How long does it take to transport a car? - Once the vehicle has been picked up it can take anywhere from one day up to a couple of weeks for delivery depending on how far the vehicle needs to go. On average you can rely on the following delivery times for auto transport:
- 100-500 Miles: 1-3 Days
- 500-1000 Miles: 3-5 Days
- 1000-2000 Miles: 5-7 Days
- 2000+ Miles: 7-14 Days
- What is door to door service? - This means that the driver will pick the vehicle up or deliver it as near to your address as possible. Unless the road will not be accessible to a large truck or you do not have enough space for the driver to turn the large carrier around, the shipment will be at your address. If the vehicle cannot be delivered to the address you prefer, the driver will arrange to meet you at a location close by that will be convenient for you as well as the carrier.
