What is the Cheap Hawaiian Auto Transport Services?
Shipping a vehicle to Hawaii and need to know the cheapest way to get it there? The cheapest way to move a vehicle to Hawaii is going to depend on the mode of transport you choose to get it there and whether it ships to or from a terminal or directly from your address.
Open Auto Transport Vs Enclosed Auto Transport
Open auto transport is usually the cheapest way to transport a car to Hawaii and is the most preferred method of transport for customers who have cars shipped. If you own a standard vehicle that is driven daily, open will most likely be best for you.
If you own an expensive luxury car like a Mercedes-Benz or an Alpha Romero or even a race car, antique or collectible car, you may want to go with enclosed transport. Shipping a car inside a container will protect it from the elements and help prevent damage during transport to Hawaii. Enclosed transport is going to cost more than open transport, but for highly valuable cars, it really is the cheapest way to go.
Terminal or Door to Door to Hawaii
Terminal shipping to Hawaii is hands down, the cheapest way to get a car moved from the mainland to the islands. While the cheapest, I t does have some downsides that you need to be aware of. First, it can take longer to have a car transported when you use a terminal to ship to and from because some carriers are extremely busy and prefer not to schedule terminal pickup or delivery into their schedules. Security can be low at a terminal facility and you will need to leave your car alone for days, or even weeks while it waits on a carrier to deliver it to the port for transport to Hawaii. If you are on a strict budget and are not in a rush to have the car delivered, you will save money with terminal to terminal shipping. Be sure to check and see how much security is available prior to leaving the car alone at a terminal.
Door to door is the way that most cars are transported, and it is a safe way to have a car picked up or delivered. The transporter will arrange to pick your car up at your preferred address or as close to the address as possible and will have it delivered to your new address in Hawaii once it is removed from the cargo ship.
