Motorcycle transport is a wonderful way to get any type of vehicle from one location to the next without physically driving it there. Some motorcycles aren’t meant to be on the road too much, especially for long trips.
Of course, some bikes just need to reach their destination in the pristine condition in which they are promised. Regardless, there are plenty of transporters with low service rates to choose from.
Having a bike shipped elsewhere is quick, affordable and easy with a professional shipping service. Any transport company with a great reputation and the approval through the DOT will have the necessary tools and equipment to get your motorcycle to its destination. Open air shipping is the least expensive and most cost efficient method of transport.
Promotions, Discounts and Special Rates for Those Who Qualify.
A lot of transporters will offer discounts or special promotions. These are all conditional, but it is always wise to ask customer service. For instance, if you own a certified dealership that needs a steady transporter to help them relocate inventory regularly, then the company might be capable of offering special rates.
Some specials and discounts are only seasonal, but it never hurts to ask customer service while you are on the phone with them. The overall cost of transport is usually determined by the weight of the motorcycle as well as the distance to be traveled. Military personnel, seniors, and students are usually qualified for discounts too. Some offer lower rates during the winter months since this time isn’t as demanding on the transporter.
First time motorcycle transport users might also qualify for a discount. Just ask the company about their discount programs and seasonal specials. There will more than likely be some discounts that you are applicable for.
