Ambulance Shipping Services
An ambulance is a colossal-sized specialty vehicle. Most often, ambulances are only associated with lifesaving efforts. Not too many people think about the background of where it comes from and how it gets there. For all those behind the scenes questions, that is what a transport service is for.
It can be hard to know which transport service to choose, which can cause a headache. Different transport companies can offer a diverse network of solutions and options when it comes to transporting a large item, like an ambulance.
Whether it is for business or pleasure, like ambulance collection, finding the perfect transport service like A1 Auto Transport can make your vehicle’s commute so much easier.
Types of Ambulances
In the United States, there are four types of ambulances. These are classified as Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, and Type 4. Emergency vehicles can often be born from regular vehicles, depending on emergencies.
Type 1 Ambulance
Type 1 ambulances are classified by having a heavy truck chassis. The rear compartment of the vehicle is often called a box. These vehicles are used for Advanced Life Services (ALS) and are commonly referred to as Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICU) by some jurisdictions.
Type 2 Ambulance
A commercial heavy-duty van that has very few modifications except a raised roof and air conditioning in the back are classifications of a type 2 ambulance. These are often used as a Basic Life Support (BLS) vehicle. These can also be used to transfer patients, but it is not uncommon for them to be used in ALS services as well.
Type 3 Ambulance
A type 3 ambulance is a van chassis that has all the accommodations as a type 1 ambulance but in van form.
Type 4 Ambulance
These types of ambulances are smaller vehicles that generally fit into situations that a regular ambulance cant. They can maneuver around smaller complexes and venues. These also do not fall under Federal Regulations.
Benefits of Using An Ambulance Shipping Service
You may think that using a shipping service is going to be expensive, but that isn’t always the case. There are many benefits to using a shipping service that you can’t generally offer yourself. Below are options that a shipping service may be able to accommodate for your ambulance relocation needs.
Reliability and Professional Services
Reliable shipping services, like A1 AutoTransport, are professionals with their services. The company only uses drivers who have passed a battery of tests and background tests. These drivers also have many years of experience and knowledge of vehicle transport.
Reliable and professional transport services provide the security you need and expect when transporting an ambulance.
Reasonable Rates and Cost-Effective
If you take into account all of the costs that are associated with taking a long trip, you may notice that little things add up. The price of gas is often unpredictable, which can make your expenses fluctuate unexpectedly.
If you have to go a long distance, you also have to think about hotel stays, rest stops, snacks, the cost of extended insurance for the trip, and the possibility of a vehicle breakdown.
These unexpected expenses can cause a great deal of stress and can place an impact on the wallet.
Using a professional transportation service for ambulance transport can help remove all the guesswork out of the movement of it. You will know your price upfront, and you won’t have to worry about sudden price changes based on unforeseen circumstances.
Several different factors can put someone at risk when they are traveling. Other drivers not following safety standards, inclement weather, tiredness, and other personal physical limitations can cause potential safety concerns for you and your family.
If there are concerns with safety, or if a dangerous situation comes up, it can take a hard hit on more than just your wallet.
Allowing a transport service to take care of shipping needs can take the pressure of worrying about safety off your shoulders. You can stay comfortable and safe while A1 Auto Transport takes care of everything for you.
Protects Your Ambulance During Transport
Traveling for long hours and long distances can cause unnecessary wear and tear on an ambulance before it ever reaches its destination. The wear and tear of the travel can bring down the value and longevity of the ambulance. The more the wear and tear, the more maintenance that will be needed on the ambulance in the future.
Using professional transport services, like A1 Auto Transport, can help reduce the unnecessary mileage on your ambulance.
Less Time Planning and Worrying
Anytime you have to take a trip, there is a lot of planning involved. Think about your last family vacation. There is a possibility that there were lists and a lot of preparation required for the trip. Even with all the preparation, it is possible that you forgot something or you weren’t as prepared as you thought.
Using A1 Auto Transport is the only preparation you need for transporting an ambulance. Whether you are in the medical profession and are replacing an ambulance, or you are an enthusiast who wants to restore an antique, getting it to your door is our top priority.
