Transport services offered in Snowmass Village
We have an open-air transport solution that will help to move your vehicle at a bargain rate. Our multi-car trailers can move between 8-10 cars on a trip, which helps in dropping the cost to ship. The service offers the quickest pickup and delivery timelines.
If you have a highly expensive vehicle, your insurer will discourage you from using exposed transport bearing the risks involved. With enclosed shipping, your cars will get the best protection from the elements, dust, and road debris. Our transit insurance covers up to $ 1 million depending on the market value.
We have two pickup and delivery options to serve you when shipping cars to or from Snowmass Village.
- With terminal shipping, we will appoint a transportation depot in your state for the drop-off or pickup. It is a cost-effective option if you live in a highly urbanized region.
- Door-to-door shipping helps us to reach some of the remote and rural areas. We will fetch the vehicle and deliver it to your residence or any convenient point that you choose.
A-1 Auto Transport can help with all of your overseas vehicle relocations. We will find the right transportation solution for your car, starting from the customs and paperwork processing.
- We have an airfreightoption, which offers quick transfers for special cases.
- Our roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) standard serves the budget shippers, dealerships, and manufacturers.

How to prepare a car for shipping
- Cleaning your car makes it easy to check for cosmetic damage during the inspection. You can use a camera to take close up shots of the damage. Remember to include date stamps on all the photographs.
- You should not leave any valuables and personal goods inside the car. The transporter will not accept to take a vehicle loaded with household goods due to federal and safety regulations. You will take sole responsibility for any damage caused by such items.
- Do not fuel up the car to a full tank. We need only about 1/4 of gas, which will allow us to start and drive your vehicle when necessary during the handling process. Levels beyond that may flout the weight regulations and create potential safety risks.
- Keep the car in proper running shape by checking the battery, tire pressure, and fluid levels. For non-op and salvage vehicles, you need to let the transporter know in advance so that they can prepare the right equipment.
- Prepare a set of keys that you will hand over to the truck driver on collection. You should disable the alarm system and prepare a note of special operation instructions that the trucker might need when handling your vehicle.
- After-market DVD players, spoilers, luggage racks, GPS systems, and other custom accessories should not travel as part of the vehicle. Use a protective cover on the non-detachable parts, retract the antenna and fold in the side-view mirrors.
- Take time to learn about all the enforcement issues on shipping cars to or from SnowmassVillage. Apply for registration documents at the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
