Villa Nueva is a scenically beautiful small city near Guatemala City in Guatemala. With more than 25 local factories producing plastics, textiles and other industrial products, many people move to the area for work and growth in the employment sector. Temperatures are usually in the mid 70’s year round, and there are several parks and shopping centers to enjoy in the town. While the roadways are not all paved, having a personal car to drive is very beneficial as public transportation is very limited and robberies have been known to happen on the small city buses. Renting a car while in Villa Nueva can be difficult as there are no rental agencies in the city and driving in from surrounding areas can be very costly with the expense of rental fees as well as insurance. The best times of the year to import a car are in the months of November through February as there is often heavier rainfall during the rest of the year. Rainfall can cause flooding on the dirt roadways and can make vehicle travel difficult in and out of the city.
Overseas vehicle transport from the United States to Villa Nueva will require the services of a professional automobile transport company. When you contact the company you will have to provide some standard documents to proceed with your automobile shipment. Documents will include your driver’s license and social security number as well as a signed power of attorney form to allow the company to transport your car. The company will be able to schedule delivery of your car to the major shipping port in the U.S. Most transport from the U.S. to Guatemala must leave from shipping ports in Florida so you will either need to drive the car to Florida or have it delivered by the company. The company will discuss the shipping contract and how the shipping schedule works. Usually for transport to cities in Guatemala, transport carriers leave port from the U.S. once every two weeks, so your car will have to be scheduled during one of the port exits. Once you provide all of your information, the agent you speak to will be able to give you a total shipping quote and will be able to schedule delivery to the port as well as your automobile shipment to Villa Nueva.
How the Car will be transported to Villa Nueva.
Motor vehicles can be taken to Villa Nueva from the United States either by sea or by air. Due to the high cost of air shipping. Most vehicle owners prefer to ship by sea. If you have a very expensive car or you need to ship valuable personal items to Villa Nueva, you may prefer to ship by air because air shipments will arrive very quickly. When shipping by sea, most people will use roll-On roll-Off transport. Roll-on Roll-off is also known as RORO transport and this is the number one way to ship a car internationally. RORO is the perfect way to ship everyday driving vehicles from cars, trucks and SUV’s to vans and buses. Farm equipment and construction equipment, motorcycles and ATV’s are also shipped by RORO easily. Automobiles must be cleared of any personal items when shipping on a RORO carrier. If you need to ship any personal items or home goods with the car, then the best route to go will be with Container shipping. Using a shipping container makes relocating very easy as you can load everything into one shipping container for delivery. There will be a container fee to ship this way. When you use a container and ship personal items you will need to make sure that you have a complete packing slip and that it contains every item, large or small, that you have in the container. Missing one item on the list can delay or even cause your shipment to be denied.
