You may need to check to see if you have the international shipping documents needed in your current insurance policy. You may need to purchase a new policy in order to cover the transit. The vehicle that you import will need to be prepped for exporting/importing so you don't suffer any delays throughout the process. You will need to follow the rules and regulations of the Grenada Customs Department. Your vehicle should arrive at the port and ready at least seventy-two hours before the vehicle is scheduled to leave the port. You will need to have the following documents ready:

You will need to select the right shipping method for your vehicle from the port at the United States to the port at Grenada. As long as the method of shipping complies with the rules and regulations set forth by both ports, your vehicle will ship one of two ways; Roll On/ Roll Off or container shipping. The choice you make will depend on what your needs are and your budget.
Roll On/ Roll Off shipping involves your vehicle being driven onto the ship and placed inside of a car bay on the deck. Once the freight ship reaches the port in Grenada, it will be driven off. This is the most affordable way to ship your vehicle but you are only allowed to ship an empty but clean car.
Container shipping is an option for those who want to ship their cars in a protected container that is either 20 foot or 40 foot in size.
