The Mongolian city of Tsetserleg is the capital Arkhangai Aimag province. It is located on the slopes of the majestic Khangai Mountains, about three hundred sixty miles south west of Ulaanbaatar.
If you plan to visit or stay in this city, you will need to arrange for your own vehicle to be imported as well. You cannot count on public transportation in Inner Mongolia.
Ways to ship the vehicle.
Since Mongolia is landlocked, you will need to transport your vehicle to the closest port that accepts imports from the United States and then hire a multi-carrier trailer to transport your vehicle onto Tsetserleg. A1 Auto Transport Service can assist you in transporting your vehicle from the United States to Mongolia.
Shipping to Mongolia becomes seamless when you have a reputable company like A1 Auto Transport to assist you is going to make the process even easier. They offer additional options to make the transport easier for you, such as door-to-port service. You will need to ship to the Chinese ports of Quingdao or Tianjin Port. Once your vehicle reaches one of these ports, A1 Auto Transport Service will make sure that your vehicle makes it to Tsetserleg safely. We will also be able to recommend two methods of shipping by the ocean; Roll On/ Roll Off and container.
Roll On/ Roll Off, or RORO is the most affordable way to ship your vehicle. If you choose this method, however, there are a few rules that must be followed. You must clean your vehicle inside and out to avoid any delay. No personal items will be allowed inside. All air conditioning gas must be drained due to the fact that it is highly flammable. With this method of shipping, a vehicle is driven onto the ship deck, parked in a bay, and harnessed down.
Container shipping is another shipping method. This method cost more but it provides higher protection for your vehicle. You can choose from a twenty-foot container or a forty-foot container. Your vehicle will be allowed to ship along with your personal items so you can get more for your buck.
