Shipping Methods.
You will have a choice in shipping methods. The first is the Roll On/ Roll Off. You will need to remove everything from inside your vehicle before you put it on the ship. The vehicle will be driven off when it reaches it is a designation. While in route, your vehicle will be strapped down and secured for shipping. You will need to remove the gas from the air conditioner. The only items left in your car will be the spare tire, the jack, and the floor mats. If you leave anything else in your car, they will quarantine it until it is clear.
Container shipping is the second method of shipment. This method is more expensive but it does offer you more security. Your car and all your household goods can be kept safely in a box that's either 20 foot or 40 foot in size. You will not be allowed to ship anything that is illegal in this country. Once your container is loaded, it will be sealed up and then lifted onto the ship by a crane. Once it reaches its destination, the container will then be lifted off the ship and onto the port.
You will need to check with the Embassy of Kazakhstan to see what the latest importing laws are before you import.
