Documents Needed for Importing your Vehicle.
It's important to have your safety and verification done before importing your vehicle. You will need to have it cleared by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection as well as the by French Customs and Excise Service. You will need to have the following documents with you for verification purposes:
- Title of the vehicle.
- Driver's License.
- Social Security Number.
- Proof of Residency.
- Vehicle Registration.
- Vehicle Insurance.
