Choosing the shipping methods.
It's very important that you choose the right shipping company to oversee this project for you. The right shipper will make sure that the transition goes smoothly and do whatever it takes in order to make this transition as simple as possible with no delay. Before your vehicle leaves the port in the U.S, you will need to check with the U.S Customs and Borders Protection Agency to make sure that you have everything you need; such as a clear title, driver's license, and a clear title. You will also need to pay taxes and duty for all transportation costs as per the requirements of the South Korean Customs Department.
You will also need to provide a bill of sale that has your name on it as well as the original title that shows no one having a lien against your vehicle. If you do have a lien on your car, you will need to pick up a notarized document stating that you have permission from the lienholder to take that vehicle out of the country. The shipping service you choose will need to have a copy of this information before leaving the port with your vehicle.
