How Much Does It Cost to Move to Uzbekistan?
The cost of moving internationally to Uzbekistan can range anywhere from $2,000-$12,000 depending on a variety of factors such as the size of move, total distance, route, transportation method, and current market trends.
You can expect to pay anywhere between $3,900 and $8,200 if you move to Uzbekistan, depending on the size of the house. If you are trying to calculate how much moving to Uzbekistan will cost, take into account these factors. Taxes and duties will also have to be paid once you get there.
The number of items in the inventory
There is a significant difference between moving more items and moving fewer. Taking care while packing your items will ensure that they are protected. You may be able to relocate some of your items at an affordable price. As a result, you might want to consider sharing your office space with another client, so that the costs of moving would be reduced to a greater extent. It will be possible for you to save as much money as possible in the long run if you do this.
The cost of legal services
Your transfer overseas will be secure if you follow legal requirements. In response to that, they expressed concern over the costs of customs and duties as well as visas. In the long run, they may be able to help themselves to more than $1000 if they fulfill their obligations. A lawyer might be able to process your documents more quickly. You may be able to receive stipends through duty waivers and customs waivers if the items you are trying to import are worth a certain amount.
Insurance for relocation
If you choose the right service, you will benefit from a more secure and safe transfer. Additional insurance coverage can also be added. When you purchase moving insurance, you will be compensated if you have items damaged, destroyed, or lost. Prices will vary depending on what you are moving.

Whether you want to move your belongings to your new office or home or to ship your car to Uzbekistan, we are up to the task.
Duty charged on household belongings
Duty exemption isn’t offered by customs, even when bringing used household goods into Uzbekistan (unless you have diplomatic status). Currently you can expect to pay between 60% and 110% of the shipment’s CIF value. In addition, the International Association of Movers recommends that you don’t list the monetary value of your belongings on any paperwork submitted to customs. Otherwise, they warn that you may be charged exorbitant import duty rates (1).
Customs requires you to be there in person when your shipment is being processed. You should also be prepared for it to be examined by customs agents. Since duty-free import isn’t available, you must provide a Bank Guarantee (or bond) (2). Whether this will be refunded to you after removing your goods from the country isn’t clear – but the duties themselves are certainly not refunded.

Documents mandated for household belongings
You’ll need to give customs a copy of your passport and visa, along with a full packing list. The Original Bill of Lading or Air Waybill for the shipment is also required. Customs will also request your accreditation card (3). You’ll likely need a Residence Permit as well, which can be obtained from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. A copy of your rental contract for a residence within Uzbekistan is an acceptable substitute. An Owner’s Declaration and a valid Work Permit should be submitted too.
A Power of Attorney authorizing the destination agent to bring your shipment into the country should also be filed. Finally, both a comprehensive inventory and pro-forma invoice appear to be compulsory documentation. According to one reputable source, these should both include monetary values for your goods (4). However, you’ll recall that IAM cautions against including these figures in your paperwork (5). In the end, you’ll have to choose which advice to follow.
Duty charged on vehicle imports
Customs policy remains consistent for vehicle imports, with no duty exemption offered (except to those with diplomatic status). In addition, expect to pay taxes on the vehicle as well. The specific duty and tax rates you’ll pay will be based upon the condition (presumably cosmetic and mechanical) of the vehicle, as determined by customs agents (6).

Documents mandated for vehicle imports
When shipping a vehicle to Uzbekistan, customs will ask for your accreditation card. You’ll also need to show your passport and visa, plus the pro-forma invoice (the original, not a copy) for the vehicle. Documents establishing ownership of the vehicle are also required, along with proof of insurance coverage. Customs will also need to see residency paperwork (7). The size of the vehicle’s engine must be reported to them as well (8). The Original Bill of Lading or Air Waybill for the vehicle will be needed too. Last of all, a technical passport (not a copy) may be required (9).
