Moving to Oregon

Moving to Oregon was one of the most stressful experiences I ever went through. The moving company was a pain to find and a bigger pain to work with. They arrived late and took forever to load my belongings.

The only thing that went well was A1 Auto Transport, the team I called to transport my car. The contrast between them and the other guys was incredible. Joe was very polite and well mannered. He listened to my request carefully then offered several options for me to choose from. He indicated the cheapest would be using an open carrier, to which I agreed wholeheartedly.

He scheduled for one of his trucks to arrive 2 days later, between 2 pm and 5 pm. It arrived at around 4 pm at the nearby supermarket parking lot that we set as a meeting point. The roads near my home would never allow a truck of that size to fit in, so we agreed to meet there.

I sent my son with the car to take care of everything, since I was busy with the moving company. He returned an hour later saying everything went smoothly and he really liked the driver.

Four days later, while we were unpacking, the truck also arrived in Oregon with our car. The driver was professional, always smiling and patient enough to wait while we inspected the vehicle. There was nothing to report, not a scratch on it, so we ended our transaction well.
