Duties charged on your household goods
Expect to pay full import duty, when bringing your used household belongings into Kosovo. The rate currently stands at 10%, along with an extra value-added tax (VAT) of 15%. It seems the only exemptions offered are for NGOs, and they still must pay VAT on any shipments which they import (1).

The customs clearance process requires that you provide certain documentation, including your Original Bill of Lading or Air Waybill. A valid Letter of Employment that includes the length of your work contract should also be submitted.
