Shipping Services for Motorcycles.
As with all other vehicles in need of transport, those shipping motorcycles will have a variety of services available to them. From open transport to closed forms of shipping, it is ultimately up to you. Although every transport company carries their own services, there are some popular options.
Enclosed and crated transport methods are the most commonly chosen services. These are both cost effective, although crated shipping is a little steeper in its rate. This is due to the closer attention to security measures taken.
With crated shipping, the bike is secured and confined within a tight space. It will fit snuggly inside a crate which will then be placed inside of an enclosed container. This protects the bike from sudden movement, weather, and poor road conditions during the shipping process.
Enclosed shipping methods are also very safe. However, the bike is secured to a pallet and placed within the large shipping container as is. This adds protection to the bikes as they out for delivery.
