Long Distance Pool Table Movers
If you own a pool table and are looking for long distance moving services, make sure the mover offers heavy furniture moving services or are capable of moving your pool table. You’ll also want to make sure that your pool tables, as well as all other belongings are covered under the mover’s insurance policy. If not, ask to purchase further insurance protection. You should expect the relocation of your pool table to show up as an extra charge on your final bill.
How to Safely Relocate a Pool Table
The greatest and absolute safest way to move a pool table is by taking it apart. It makes it easier to carry through doorways, down stairs and through hallways. It also makes it easier to load onto and off of the moving truck. The biggest thing to remember is that as you are packing the parts into boxes and wrapping them in foam sheets or other packing materials, is to label each piece or box they go into. You want to remember what part goes where once you start to put the table back together.
A-1 Auto Transport can help you move your household goods nationwide. Call 888-509-3213 to get a free, no obligation to buy price quote on interstate moving services.
When you disassemble the pool table, put all bolts, screws and hardware in a separate bag. It is nearly impossible to find the right fasteners and attachments for a pool table at your typical hardware shop. Make sure you use the proper tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers to disassemble the pool table. You don’t want to warp or damage the hardware being removed.
Relocating a pool table on your own can be done, but hiring a mover to do the job for you is less stressful and quite affordable. They’ll have experience, training and the right tools to get the pool table relocated much quicker and safer.
