Litchfield Park, Arizona Professional Auto Shipping
Named after Paul Weeks Litchfield, founder of the Goodyear Tire Company, in 1926. Litchfield Park is home to a little more than 5000 people and is a community that was originally planned by the Goodyear Company to be a large residential area with planned homes, golf courses, colleges and other educational centers and a harness track. In the a960’s, the company decided not to build on the site and the population never quite grew to the massive population that Goodyear originally predicted had they developed the city on their own.
Although the local population is not terribly high, the city hosts some of the largest events in the state including the Flavors of the West Festival, the Annual Wigwam Festival of Fine Art and an annual Independence Day Fireworks Celebration that features live music, cooking competitions and much more that bring many tourists to the area to celebrate.

Keeping Car Shipping Costs Down and Safety High
Most people strive to keep the cost of shipping a car to a minimum when at all possible. While most shipping cars will be fairly competitive, there are some things that you can do on your own that may be able to help keep the cost down a little as well as keep the vehicle safer during transport:
- If the car has extra seats that are removable, you may want to remove those prior to shipment.
- Any loose items should be removed before the car is shipped. This includes spoilers, tool boxes, and even fog lights.
- Car alarms should be disabled to prevent them from setting off during transport. Alarms can delay transport and can also distract the driver while transporting the vehicle.
- If you own a convertible, the top needs to be fully secured during shipment.
- Antennas should be completely removed and not just folded down.
- Fluid leaks, if any, should be fixed prior to transport as leaks can damage other vehicles and can also become a fire hazard during auto transport.
- Take detailed photos of the vehicle before it is shipped. This ensures that you will have pictures when the car arrives at the new location and if there is any damage, the pictures will back up the pre-shipment condition for insurance purposes.
